Warhammer online instance has its own features. Players entering instances will not encounter any players from the opposing realm. Although, both realms are able to do some of the same instances, they will be separated and will be separated and never come in contact with one another. The End bosses are heavily instanced and will only be able to be attacked by one 6 man group at a time. There are three types of Dungeons/instances.

Realm Instance
Realm Instanced dungeons are only instanced for each side. Everybody from the same Realm/Faction adventures together in the same instance/version of the dungeon.

Warband Instance
Warband Instanced dungeons have separate instances for each Warband (a collection of several 6-man Groups) who adventure together but may be in separate area's in turn not really helping each other.

Group Instance
Group Instanced dungeons are instanced per 6-man Group, so that each Group of 6 players experience a separate version of the dungeon, by themselves. Kill dungeons and gain Warhammer gold.
